General Information
What is Super Snaps?

Here at Super Snaps we provide a simple, fast and awesome way for you to get your photos from your device into your hands and up on your wall!

We’re a small London-based team with over 25 years experience in delivering beautiful printed products to our customers worldwide, so you can rest easy that your snaps are in safe hands!

We offer an array of print sizes and styles to suit all your printing needs. You can upload your photos from any device!

How does it work? 

It couldn't be easier! Here's how...

  1. Hit the Get Started button and choose a product. You can find out more information about the product by hitting the More Information button.
  2. Upload your photos from any device, Facebook or Instagram.
  3. Edit - crop, rotate and the number of each print by hovering over the photo with your mouse or tapping it if you’re on mobile. You'll see an error message under any photos which are low in resolution or missing images so keep an eye out for this!
  4. Customise your snaps - select gloss or matte finish for all your prints, add text (product dependent) and change border colours (product dependent). You can select individual prints to customise by tapping on the photo. Selected images will show a green glow around them!
  5. Review your Shopping Basket or add more photos. Then make your payment by PayPal or debit/credit card.
  6. Ta-dah! Your super snazzy prints are on their way! Keep an eye out for our shiny packaging dropping onto your doormat!
Do you support all browsers?

We officially support Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, but any modern browser should work without any problems. Unfortunately we don’t support Internet Explorer as this is no longer supported by Microsoft.

Is Super Snaps available as an app?

Yes - our app is available on iOS and Android! To download on your iPhone or iPad, head to the App Store, search ‘Super Snaps’ and download - easy peasy! For Android, search 'Super Snaps' in the Google Play Store and download. If you’re already browsing on your phone or iPad, you can just hit the ‘Download on the App Store/Google Play Store’ button anywhere on our site and you will be redirected to the App Store to download.

Uploading & Ordering
Do the size and the quality of my images matter?

It sure does! To get the most sparkly amazing prints possible, we recommend that you do not use an image size smaller than 640 x 640 pixels for our small products and 760 x 760 for our large products. These values vary with each product size but our handy website will alert you if your image is too low quality for the selected product/size. We can print smaller files but the printed image may appear pixelated, particularly if the image needs to be enlarged to fit our larger product sizes. It’s your responsibility to check the size of your prints - simply right click and hit check info.

We can’t accept images over 50MB. Most JPEG photos are around 1-3 MB so you shouldn’t have any issues! If your image is over 50MB you can use online image size conversion apps such as Photoshop to reduce your image before you upload to Super Snaps!

If you’re uploading from Instagram your photos may have been converted to a square image with sides of 640 pixels and a standard 72 dpi resolution. There is some JPEG compression applied, but it doesn’t appear to be as aggressive as that used on Facebook. All images will be automatically sized to your printed product size. The quality of the image may vary according to the print size you choose.

What type of image files do you print?

We print JPEGs and PNGs - yay! If your snaps aren’t in any of these formats, don’t panic! There are loads of different apps and free online tools where you can convert other image formats to JPEGs and PNGs.

How do I upload from Instagram?

We love printing photos from Instagram - it’s the reason we started! You can access your Instagram account through our site and select which photos you want to print!

How many do I have to print?

We have a minimum order on each product but once you hit the minimum you are charged per additional photo. If you want to order less than the minimum then of course you can, but you will be charged the minimum cost.

Remember if you want multiple copies of one photo you will need to manually add the number of copies you need using the plus sign (+) - there’s more information on how to do this below...hurrah!

Can I order multiple copies of the same photo? 

Of course...some snaps are so great you need more than one copy! On our Review Page, just hover over the photo you need more copies of and a plus sign (+) will appear in the top right-hand corner! Hit this and enter the number of copies you need - you’ll see them all stack up behind! To make changes to individual snaps (for example if you want to change the caption of each print) click on the stack and they will all display - easy huh?!

The colour on screen looks a bit different to what has been printed - why is that?

We print our snaps using industry leading, high-quality CMYK prints which use 4 colours to make up every image you see printed. Some cameras and device screens use RGB which is only 3 colours. When your snaps are converted to CMYK for printing, the contrast and colour of the printed image can therefore sometimes appear slightly different to how it looks on your screen. This is normal for quality prints and we run daily checks and maintenance to make sure that your prints are as close as possible to the original digital print you uploaded!

My prints have arrived a little darker than I thought they would - why is this?

When you’re viewing your photos on a backlit screen, they will appear brighter than the actual image is. When they are printed they can then arrive a little darker than expected. To make sure that you get a more accurate print we’d suggest turning down the brightness on your screen by at least 30%.

Can I crop and rotate my snaps?

Yes - of course you can! You can use our super easy Review Page to change the cropping and rotation of your snaps.

To crop your snaps: Simply hover over a photo and you will see the cropping tool appear in the bottom right-hand corner of your image. Hit this and move your photo within the frame of your product to get the perfect print!

To rotate your snaps: Hover over your photo and you will see the rotate tool appear in the middle at the bottom. Hit rotate and see your snaps spin!

What happens if I don't crop the image?

If you don’t change the cropping of your pictures our little squirrels will crop your images to make them square. It’s worth checking that you’re happy with the cropping otherwise you might accidentally chop off someone’s head and we’re sure they wouldn’t be too happy about that! Cropping cannot be changed after your order has been placed.

What paper do you use?

We use thick 350 GSM (grams per square meter) silk photo paper to make our snaps tough and durable.

Can you print captions?

Depending on the product, we absolutely can! If you can write a caption on the product you’ve chosen then you will see this option appear in the Product Builder. This will show as a small box which says ‘Optional Text’ - just click in the box and add your message!

What languages do your fonts support?

Below is our list of fonts and the list of languages each one supports:

  • Arial Unicode - All modern languages are supported. This is our default font.
  • Abril Text - Catalan, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Maltese, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish.
  • FF Market - Catalan, Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish.
  • Grafolita Script - Catalan, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Maltese, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish.

What is the Product Builder?

The Product Builder is the section of our site where you can upload and edit your image and select, change and customise your product and product size.

Can I print emojis on my snaps?

Afraid not - although we love these little guys if you try to print them on your captions they will be removed.

I think I ordered the wrong size pictures - can I change my order?

Uh-oh! Sadly once you submit your order our super speedy squirrels get to work on it and we can’t make any changes to it - they’re just so darn fast! You try catching a squirrel running around the office with a photo. Yep, you get our problem.

Can I change or cancel my order once I’ve completed checkout?

We aim to be as efficient as possible so unfortunately once you have completed the checkout we power up the printer and start processing. We’re therefore unable to cancel or make changes to your order.

What happens after I submit my order?

You will receive a confirmation email confirming the details of your order. If you don’t receive this then check out what to do below under ‘Payment’.

Your Super Snaps are then sent at warp speed through our super efficient system and we start processing your images from the digital to the physical! Using the latest in digital photo printing technology we then print, chop, collect and pack up the snaps you’ve ordered so that your memories are ready to send out and arrive on your doorstep as soon as possible!

As soon as our shiny padded envelopes are shipped out you will receive another email confirming your order has been sent and then you’ve just got to eagerly await them - “I was waiting for my super exciting Super Snaps” is totally a valid reason not to go to work right?*

*We’re kidding. Get to work so you can order even more Super Snaps!

I didn’t receive an order confirmation - is my order being processed?

If you haven’t received a confirmation email please check your spam or junk folders - sometimes our delivery squirrels get a little confused and put them in the junk. If you still can’t find it, feel free to send us a quick email to and we’ll look into this for you!

I don’t like the pictures, can I send them back?

As our printed snaps are a personal customised product, unfortunately we’re unable to accept returns and cannot refund.

Payments & Discounts
How can I pay for my order?

Oh so many ways! We accept debit and credit cards, and PayPal too.

Can I pay in my local currency?

We take payments in GBP sterling, but PayPal will convert the payment into your local currency (how clever!) so feel free to shop away...we ship internationally too! You can change the currency in the drop down list at the top of the page.

Important information about charges: Super Snaps will charge you in Pounds Sterling (GBP), but we have a US Dollar, and also Euro amount on our site. This is an approximate conversion. Your bank or PayPal may charge you at a slightly different rate (based on the current exchange rate).

I have a discount code - how can I use it?

Ooh you lucky thing! You can enter your discount code at the checkout. Discount codes can be a percentage discount or a monetary value. They can be applied to individual products, total basket, or shipping. Only one single discount can be applied in each single checkout. Discounts may expire.

CHRISTMAS SHIPPING + How long will it take to get my pictures?

Our last order date for Christmas delivery is the 15th of December. However, due to the difficulties facing logistics companies this year we are unfortunately unable to 100% guarantee delivery in time for Christmas. The sooner you order the sooner we can get your snaps on their way to you! If you order today then we will aim to have your lovely photos printed and shipped out within 3-4 working days of you completing your order. Please note that during busy times this can be slightly longer. See below for more details on our delivery times!

UK delivery information

All our UK deliveries are sent First Class Royal Mail. We charge £2.99 for Post and Packaging for all products. Our First Class service usually delivers within 1-2 working days once shipped, and is an untracked service. Please allow 1-2 working days for printing for orders placed before 12PM (GMT), and 1-3 working days for orders placed after 12PM.

US shipping information

For the US we have our DHL Express Shipping Service. This is a tracked service which aims to deliver within 2-3 working days once shipped! Please allow 1-2 working days for printing for orders placed before 12PM (GMT), and 1-3 working days for orders placed after 12PM.

Europe shipping information

For Europe we offer our DHL Europe Tracked Service. This is a tracked service which aims to deliver your snaps to you within 1-2 working days once shipped! Please allow 1-2 working days for printing for orders placed before 12PM (GMT), and 1-3 working days for orders placed after 12PM.

The rest of the world shipping information

For the rest of the world we offer our DHL Express Shipping Service. This tracked service which aims to deliver your lovely snaps within 2-3 working days once shipped! Please allow 1-2 working days for printing for orders placed before 12PM (GMT), and 1-3 working days for orders placed after 12PM.

How does the shipping of multiple products work?
If you are ordering multiple items to the same address then these will be shipped together and you will only be charged once of the cost of shipping. The only exception to this is with our Framed Prints which are packaged individually for added protection. Shipping for more than one Framed Print product will be charged at an additional (but discounted) shipping rate.


Can I ship to a different address to my billing address?

You sure can! Here at Super Snaps we’re all about spreading the love and sharing those memories, so it’s easy to enter a different billing and shipping address. You can choose to do this when making your payment!

Can I ship different products to different addresses?

Yep, totally! Before you add a product to your basket you will be asked to choose the address you would like this to be shipped to, and you can always edit this once you’ve put it in your basket too!

Can I track my snaps?

If you have ordered for delivery to a country outside of the UK your snaps will be sent with a tracked service. You should receive an email once your order is shipped which will contain a tracking code. If you have created an account you can also track your order in your account. Simply login and go to ‘Order History’. Click into the order you wish to track and click the ‘Track Item’ button to the right of your selected address. Ta-dah!

I’ve submitted the wrong address details - can I change it?

Once you submit your order our squirrels start work on it straight away and we can’t amend anything. However, if you send us an email to within 1 hour of your order being made we’ll do our tip top best to help you out!
